THE PLACE

Our estate covers 7,000 hectares and is located in Santa Rosa (Mendoza), the ideal place for our wines to blossom into their full potential. The perfect combination of climate, vine varieties and soils creates the most suitable habitat for different varietals to develop their qualities to the fullest.

Soil: sandy and very permeable. Ideal for vine growing.

Climate: semiarid, continental. Average annual rainfall: 150 mm, from May to October. Long warm summers that lead grapes to reach optimal ripeness. Cold winters that allow for balanced vine growth.

Temperature: the average summer high is 33°C while the average winter low is -1°C. The average temperature range throughout the year oscillates between 15°C and 18°C. This guarantees the highest possible aromatic intensity of our wines.

Humidity: the annual average ranges from low to medium. During the dry season, there is 30-40% humidity, while during the wet season, values fluctuate around 50-55%.

Irrigation: abundant high-quality groundwater. The water is pumped from wells at 220-260 meters deep (flow: 250 m3/hr).
